Product Buyer

Job Summary

Bright, intelligent person required for researching products for an e-commerce company to buy. Involved with investigating the various types of category channels and then identifying the right products that fit our portfolio of websites that target Europe

Responsibilities

  • Decide purchase volume of various products.
  • Search, selection and type-approval of suppliers.
  • Manage sales margins and deadlines.
  • Responsible for monitoring production to its receipt in our warehouse.
  • Managing plans for stock levels
  • Reacting to changes in demand.
  • Decide when the product should arrive to the stores: quantities and lead times.
  • Monitoring and analysis of sales and customer demand.

Required Skills

  • Qualification: Any Master’s Degree.
  • 6 to 12 months work experience desired in similar post.
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • Availability to work on a full time basis.
  • Should have proven experience of working with the design teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills and deep knowledge of pricing; competitor analysis.
